We at London Bridges Child Development Center believe that our program and services provide a unique, play-based, child centered curriculum for infants, toddlers, and school age children. We provide the integration of physical, spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional, language, and self help to support the over-all development of your child. We recognize parents are the child's first teacher. Here we believe children learn best when parents are involved in their educational program. With that being said, we offer parent participation each month to read a story, or chaperones on field trips etc. We are here to help build a primary bridge between home and school with involvement of family and the community your child.
Parent's Responsibilities
- Make sure your child is signed in and out
- Child enrollment forms are filled out completely and UPDATED
- A mask is worn over nose and mouth for all adults/children when dropping off/picking up
- Bring a change of clothes(shirt, pants, underwear, and socks)
- Bring enough diapers/pull-ups/wipes to keep for each week
- Bring formula/snacks for infants
- ALWAYS BE RESPECTFUL!

Admission Process and Wait List
There is no charge for placing your child on our wait list. London Bridges Child Development Center has never charged for children to be placed on their wait list.
A tour of our program should be scheduled with the CEO, Childcare Director, or Assistant Director. In addition, a “30 minute Play Visit”, should be arranged for you and your child. “Play visits” help us get introduced to your child and is highly recommended.
Children are enrolled into the London Bridges Child Development Center, as per que, in accordance, to the date of submission, on the waitlist application, and receipt confirmed. Please see below for a full list of priorities.
Please note waitlist priority is based on the following:
1. Siblings currently enrolled in the center
2. Child/Family member of Staff
3. Date of Submission and confirmation of receipt of the “Wait List Form”
4. For the School-Age Program, the priority of placement, will first go to any currently enrolled in schools in 3mi radius of center. Priority will be based on first enrolled. (ex. Johnny started as a Toddler in 2012, Becky as a Preschooler in 2013; Johnny receives 1st available space for the school-age program.)
The final placement of each child, however, is individual, and based on the developmental stage and needs of the child, within our classroom settings. The “30 minute Play Visit” plays an important role in assessing each child so that we can place our young learners at a time that is beneficial, positive and best suited to the individual child. (Ex. We can take younger than eighteen months in our Toddler Classroom but if the little one cannot walk, our Toddler program is not appropriate for them, so our infant room will be more appropriate. )
All Wait List Forms (Initial Childcare Placement Request) are kept in the Wait List Binder in the office so progression on wait list can easily be reported but names of the children and family privacy protected.
